Kim's work comes from her want -- or need  -- to reduce, reuse, and recycle.  She enjoys the challenge of bringing new life to discarded and surplus materials, while reviving and continuing in the folk art tradition.  

The process includes much pounding, cutting of metal, and a unique way of wiring materials together to form one-of-a-kind personalities.
