Bedrock Industries 

When Bedrock says “100% recycled,” they mean just that -- all of their tile is made from recycled glass only -- by hand, in their own plant.  They do not use pigment in their glass. 

Bedrock Industries  participate in and support recycling efforts whenever possible. Each year they re-use over 50 tons of post-consumer and post-industrial glass that would otherwise go directly into landfills.  Local schools are supported with educational programs and bottle drives. A portion of their sales each year is donated to assist environmental conservation.

Bedrock is a for-profit business, which is the most exceptional thing of all. They are not a foundation or an agency. Bedrock works very hard to be a shining example of a for-profit organization with a total commitment to sustainability, good employment practices, and responsible community service practices. This is not the easiest way to operate, but it’s important to demonstrate that creative recycling can stand on its own right here in the United States.
